Tournament start
The tournament will start with a collective march into Hjørring Stadium on Monday the 23rd of July at 7.30 pm.
First rounds
The first rounds are played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The teams are dealed into groups of 4 or possibly 5 teams, with each team meeting each other.
Second rounds
The second rounds are played on Thursday and Friday.
The second round will operate on a knock out basis. The first and second ranked teams from the first rounds will play in the second round A, while the remaining teams will play in the second round B.
Finals
The finals are played on Friday and Saturday.
All the finals in the 7 a side classes, as well as the A finals in classes B 17 (boys), G 19 (girls), G17 (girls) and G 13 (girls) will be played on Friday. All other finals will be played on Saturday.

Number of players
There are no restrictions on the number of players that a team must include on the team list.
Amoung the players on the list, there can be 3 players who are 1 year above the stipulated age limit (in 7 a side classes 1 player).
In the 11 a side classes, you can use up to 16 of the players, that are included on the team list in one game.
In the 7 a side classes, you can use all the players who are included on the team list in one game.
Age Requirements etc
An automatic dispensation is given to have 3 players on your team list who are 1 year above the stipulated age limit, (in 7 aside classes 1 player).
Any player can participate on two teams from the same club, as long as the age limit is kept. This requires however, that the player is listed on the team list for both teams. The two teams must not be in the same class.
Any girls can participate in classes for boys as long as they are the correct age.
Participants must be able to show valid identification.
Tournament rules etc
Dana Cup is played by rules that are approved by DBU (The Danish Soccer Association) and FIFA.
Only teams who are members of a FIFA approved soccer association can play in the tournament.

Colour photo of each team (1 per team).
Plaque for each group winner (1 per team).
Trophy and medals to teams in the A semi-finals and finals.
Trophy to teams in the B finals.
A special prize for the best player in each A final.
Trophy to the nominated Fair play teams (1 girl and 1 boy’s team).
A special trophy for the best visiting club.
