Hjørring is located in the center of Vendsyssel, one of Denmarks most beautiful parts of the country and a popular holiday destination for danish and also foreign tourists from places like Norway, Sweden, Germany and Holland.

The blue ocean, the yellow sand and the green forests, together make an attractive scenary under the open blue sky, that gives a special light over Vendsyssel.

The wide, kilometer long sandy beaches on the west coast are within a few kilometers of Hjørring, so they are a very popular attraction for the young Dana Cup participants.
